I bought a dell 1464-202 last several days and i install a Win 7 .I feel it perfect.However,it is a new laptop.How to maintain the dell laptop battery lifespan longer is a challenge job for me.Dell 1464-202 is my first laptop in  my life because i have always used a PC .Then the tips to make the battery lifespan longer is my first job to know about my laptop.

If your laoptop is a new one,you should follow these tips to keep your battery better:

1.Spend all the electronic of the battery before your first charging.If you do not consume out all the electronic before you charge,you will hurt the battery deeply.

2.After you consume out all the battery.You should charge 3 times and use 2 times only with your battery.The reason why you have to do that is put out all the electronic in your battery.

As to my laptop.It is Dell inspiron 1464-202.
